A rustic wedding with a splash of vintage charm
Nicole and Daniel (parents of two adorable little boys)
were married at Cedar Creek Lodges, Mt Tamborine on 7th September 2013
"Anyone who knows us knows we are both very laid back people and we wanted our wedding to represent that along with our romance and love for each other, our family and our friends. After 19 months of planning we celebrated with 50 of our closest family and friends in a very personalised, warm and romantic day in the rainforest.
From the moment you walk down the path into the Rainforest Amphitheatrewhere the ceremony was held you instantly are taken back by the ambience of the rainforest with the dappled sunlight and trickling water in the background. The Island Glade is where the reception was and again was surrounded by lush green rainforest and illuminated by dimly lit lighting, candles and a creekside bonfire. The food Cedar Creek served for dinner was divine and melted in your mouth. Overall the venue was perfect and I would highly recommend it.
What took the venue and the wedding to another level was not only the amazing suppliers who we used but the personal touches we added to everything and all the handmade goodies I spent days/weeks making.
Eliza from Invitation Designs by Eliza and Rebecca from Celebratzio are the two suppliers whom without my day wouldn’t have been half of what it was or what I pictured it to be.
When I got referred to Eliza (Invitation Designs by Eliza) from Rebecca I knew she would be the perfect lady to help with my stationery. Not only was she so willing to bend over backwards to make a few different samples, she actually listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond to make them better than I ever had imagined. She has been an absolute gem to work with and her work is incredible which is probably why I couldn’t stop ordering things. So far (trust me there will be more) Eliza has made our Invitations, Wishing well cards, RSVP cards, Seating chart, Name tags, Thank you tags, 3 Sided table numbers, Grooms card, Bridesmaid frames, Wishing tree frames, Frames for my husband, Love map frame, Vows frame, Cards bunting, Thank you cards, Abstract frame, the list truly is endless and I cannot rave enough about how much of a stationery goddess Eliza is.
Rebecca's (Celebratzio) planning over the year was meticulous. Her support was constant. Her suggestions were inspired. Her inside knowledge on suppliers was a dream. She was the best investment we made for our day of celebration. She planned around OUR vision of our wedding, rather than plan HER vision of our wedding, which meant that although we had ‘help’, everything was completely ‘us’. Because of her support, we had the most relaxed and enjoyable day. Everything was planned, decorated and organised so perfectly.
I have walked away from my wedding not only being extremely over the moon with how it turned out and counting down the days till I can plan our 10 year renewal but with some amazing new friends. These ladies may not be the cheapest on the market but they are also far from the most expensive and I believe you pay for quality. With these girls you definitely get the best quality as they both absolutely love what they do and put 110% into everything they do."
